If you were raised on this kind of “entertainment”, why wouldn’t you think it was alright to muscle through a woman's discomfort to get what you want. And forgive yourself completely for it. We, the audience, are trained to laugh at this traumatization, internalizing these portrayals that help normalize sexual harassment and violence against women.
